DASCOM Europe GmbH, a leading printer vendor in Business Printing Solutions whose serial matrix, flatbed and thermal printers are sold under the brand name Tally and Tal-ly Dascom, shows with the new DP series of mobile thermal printers, the first result after the takeover of majority interest of Printek by DASCOM last June.
In addition to the long time already proven dot matrix printer MIP480 the three new models DP-520, DP-530 and DP-580 in the range from 2 "to 8" print width will be officially presented to the public at this year's transport logistic trade fair in Munich for Europe.
The DP-520 with a print width of 2 "(57 mm) has an infrared or Bluetooth interface and is designed for use as a mobile POS / receipt printer. Its light weight and compact dimensions make you forget the user that he leads a printer with you.
Especially for applications in the logistics area the DP-530 was developed. Thanks to a robust housing, simple operation and various interfaces such as USB, Bluetooth or WiFi, up to 3 "(57 mm) width documents can easily be printed. Together with a high print speed of up to 5 inches / sec. (127 mm / sec.), the printer is the perfect choice for the on-site printing of professionally designed documents or labels.
Highlight of the new model is the DP-580, which can print out fast and detailed A4 (8 ") wide documents such as delivery notes, shipping documents or forms as required in medical environments. Like the other models, the DP-580 is available in different versions with USB, Bluetooth or WiFi interface. The sturdy and compact housing takes up a 30 m comprehensive paper inside.
„In addition to our established dot matrix based Tally MIP480 we will extend our product portfolio with thermal printer through the mobile devices of Printek," said Holger Benke, CEO of DASCOM Europe GmbH. "The first customer reactions showed a positive response, so we looking forward to the launch.“
